Spiced poached pear with vanilla ice cream

To poach the pear you need to make the poaching liquid

1. Marsala wine 2 cup
2. 6 clove
3. 4 star Anise
4. 1/2 cinnamon stick
5 1/2 cup of water
6. 6 cored pear half

Poach the pear in the liquid using medium heat until pear is soft . Do not over poached as pear will break .

I allow it to cool down and take out part of the liquid to chill it in the fridge

I use connoisseur ice cream.

Plate as shown with poaching liquid, pear and ice cream
